The Young Global Chan­gers program advo­cates for alig­ning economic and poli­tical acti­vi­ties with social prospe­rity and envi­ron­mental sustaina­bi­lity. Brin­ging toge­ther young rese­ar­chers, entre­pre­neurs, and acti­vists world­wide, it high­lights prac­tical initia­tives that embody this “recou­pling” approach. Over five years, nearly 400 parti­ci­pants have contri­buted ideas and projects addres­sing global chal­lenges.

Volume 1 compiles insights from summer schools (2019 – 2021), offe­ring assess­ments, propo­sals, and concrete solu­tions for inte­gra­ting youth in decision-making and foste­ring sustainable growth. Made possible by the Volks­wagen Foundation, this publi­ca­tion show­cases inno­va­tive pathways toward a more balanced future.
